Page at a glance
AccuLynx is business software built only for roofing contractors. It runs the CRM, the estimate, the aerial measurement order, the material order to your distributor and the invoice from one job record. Three plans are named: Essential, Pro and Elite. Exactly one price is published, $250 a month on Essential, and the page prints no billing unit next to it. And Pro and Elite carry no figure at all. Read the plan matrix on that same page and supplement tracking sits on Elite only, which means the insurance restoration workflow most roofing companies leave a general platform to get is the top tier. It fits a residential re-roof shop running two to eight crews with a real office. Material ordering and photo documentation are the strong tasks. The mobile app is the weak one, at 3.9 on the App Store against 4.6 on Capterra. Closest alternatives: JobNimbus, Roofr, Leap and RoofLink.
The short verdict
Buy AccuLynx if you run residential roof replacement, you have somewhere between two and eight crews in the field, and there is a person in the office whose day is job paperwork. That's the shape it was built for, and inside that shape the material ordering and the photo trail are worth the money. Best for shops doing 15 or more re-roofs a month, because below that the per-user bill outruns the admin hours it gives back.
But get the tier question answered before the demo ends. AccuLynx publishes $250 a month on the Essential plan and publishes nothing for Pro or Elite, and its own plan comparison shows supplement tracking, permits tracking, the production calendar and commissions all sitting on Elite. So if you do storm restoration work, the published number is the price of the plan that does not include the reason you were shopping.
Pricing verified 27 July 2026 against AccuLynx's own plan options page. And nothing on this page is estimated.
| Built for | Roofing only. No other trade appears on the product |
|---|---|
| Published price | $250 a month, Essential plan, no unit printed |
| Pro and Elite | No price published. Custom quote only |
| Billing unit | Per user licence, disclosed on a blog post rather than the pricing page |
| Contract minimum | None stated. The pricing page says no contracts |
| Mobile app | 3.9 from 585 ratings on the US App Store |
| Best fit | Residential re-roof, two to eight crews, 15-plus jobs a month |
What works, and what to watch
Strong tasks: material orders that go straight to your branch at ABC Supply, SRS Distribution or QXO with your own pricing attached; aerial measurement ordering from EagleView, GAF QuickMeasure, Hover or Geospan on every plan; unlimited photo and document storage tied to the job record; a two-way QuickBooks sync; and a support line reviewers rate 4.7, higher than they rate the product.
Weak tasks: the mobile field app, which carries 3.9 from 585 ratings and draws repeat photo-handling complaints; reporting, which a CFO reviewer calls clunky; estimate versioning, where a changed measurement means rebuilding every clone; and job search, which cannot filter by material. And the add-ons. There are nine, AccuLynx publishes a price for none, and the complaint shows up inside five-star reviews rather than one-star ones.
What AccuLynx does
It holds one record per roofing job and moves that record through stages. A lead comes in, you order an aerial measurement report from inside the job, the squares and pitch land in the estimate, the estimate becomes a branded proposal with an e-signature, the accepted proposal becomes a material order that goes electronically to your distributor branch, the crew logs photos and notes against the same job from the field app, and the invoice and job costing close it out.
So the pitch is that a re-roof lives in one place instead of five. And for a residential shingle shop it mostly holds up, because roofing is one of the few trades where a third-party measurement report is a per-job line-item cost, and having that ordering inside the CRM removes real re-keying.
Who AccuLynx is for
Where it fits
A residential roofing company owner with two to eight crews and a dedicated office manager, with enough volume that job paperwork is a role rather than an evening. Reviewer segments on Capterra cluster in Construction at 2 to 10 and 11 to 50 employees, which matches. If you run tear-off and re-roof work in asphalt shingle and order from one or two national distributors, the supplier integration alone is a defensible reason to look.
It also fits a storm restoration shop, but only on Elite. The insurance side of the product, supplement tracking and the production oversight around it, is gated to the top plan, so a hail-chasing operation should treat the Essential price as irrelevant to its own quote.
Who should not buy AccuLynx
Do not buy AccuLynx if you run more than one trade. It is roofing software and the vendor never pretends otherwise, so a roofing and siding company will keep half its business in a spreadsheet. One CFO reviewer put the same problem in plainer terms: the platform works better for exterior jobs and his team was struggling to use it on interior work. If a second trade is more than a tenth of your revenue, stay on a horizontal platform and accept shallower roofing depth.
Skip it if you do fewer than about 10 re-roofs a month. Billing is per user licence, and a solo operator or a two-person outfit is paying seat fees against admin hours that do not exist yet. Skip it if your workflow depends on a live Xactimate bridge, because Xactimate appears nowhere on AccuLynx's integrations page. And skip it if you wanted commercial or new-construction project management with submittals and RFIs, which this is not.
What AccuLynx costs
The one price AccuLynx publishes
The plan options page prints $250/month on the Essential card. And that is the only figure on the page. Pro and Elite show a description and a feature list and no number, and the page tells you outright that its sales and customer success teams "can help you determine the right plan and provide you with a custom price quote."
Two things are missing from that $250. The first is a unit. The page does not say whether it buys one seat, three seats or the company, and a roofing company owner reading it cannot tell. The unit is published, just not there: a separate AccuLynx article states that "Customers are charged a monthly fee for each user license." So the answer is per user, and you have to leave the pricing page to learn it. And the second is a floor. No minimum seat count is published anywhere, so a five-user shop cannot multiply its way to a number either. Treat $250 as the opening of a quote conversation rather than as a price.
What sits behind Elite
AccuLynx publishes the full plan matrix, and it is worth reading line by line rather than trusting the three summary cards. Twelve capabilities are Elite only: custom workflow manager, multiple company location set-up, embedded web forms, mortgage check tracking, permits tracking, production calendar, production status and trade reports, prospecting reports, sales pipeline and closing percentage reports, supplement tracking, advances and paybacks tracking, and commissions.
Read that list as a roofing contractor rather than as a software buyer. Mortgage check tracking, permits tracking and supplement tracking are the three administrative jobs that make insurance restoration expensive to run, and all three sit on the plan with no published price. So do commissions, which is how most roofing sales teams get paid.
What the subscription does not cover
Nine add-ons sit outside the plans: AccuPay, Customer Portal, Smart(er) Docs, AccuFi, ReportsPlus, DataMart, Texting, Mobile Crew App and AppConnections. AccuLynx names all nine on its add-ons page and publishes a price for none. Every one routes to a pricing request, so the recurring complaint that the add-ons cost a lot cannot be checked against a number outside a sales call, and this page will not invent one.
On the four costs that usually break a software budget, here is what AccuLynx discloses. The payment processing rate on AccuPay is not disclosed anywhere on acculynx.com. No implementation or onboarding fee is published, though the vendor publishes a duration, saying customers get up and running "typically in as little as 2 weeks." No contract minimum term or auto-renew clause is published, and the pricing page states the opposite: "No contracts." No early termination or cancellation fee is published either, and the vendor says you can cancel without penalty at any time.
So that last cluster is the good news, and it separates AccuLynx from the enterprise end of contractor software. There is no two-year term to escape and no exit fee to argue about. And what you get instead is a monthly bill you cannot forecast before you talk to sales.
The roofing workflow, feature by feature
Aerial measurement and material ordering
This is the strongest part of the product and it sits on every plan, Essential included. You order the measurement report from inside the job record, and AccuLynx lists EagleView, GAF QuickMeasure, Hover, Geospan, RoofSnap and RoofScope as sources. The squares, pitch and edge lengths populate the estimate rather than getting typed in twice.
Material ordering runs the same way into ABC Supply, SRS Distribution and QXO, with your own branch pricing and order status visible in the job. For a shop ordering a dozen shingle jobs a week, that is the feature that pays for the seat. And it is the clearest case of trade-vertical depth in the product, because a general field service platform will not carry your distributor's catalogue.
Estimating and proposals
Estimates, contracts and branded proposals are on Essential, and the e-signature tracking gets consistent praise. But the weakness is versioning. A senior sales consultant reviewing the product after more than two years describes cloning an estimate for a second product option, then having to reflect every subsequent change in each clone, and having to redo all his estimates when a measurement changes. If you quote good, better and best on most jobs, budget time for that.
Supplements and the insurance restoration job
Supplement tracking documents the back-and-forth with the carrier adjuster: what the original scope of loss covered, what you are asking for, and where each line stands. AccuLynx has it, and it is one of the reasons roofing companies pick a roofing-only platform. But it is Elite only, and the integrations page lists no Xactimate or Symbility connector, so the estimate you send the carrier still gets built in Xactimate and the tracking in AccuLynx is documentation rather than a data bridge. Roofr, by contrast, sells an ESX file per report and states that "ESX files can be uploaded directly to Xactimate."
The mobile field app
The AccuLynx Field app is free with every account and it is the weakest task in the product. It carries 3.9 from 585 ratings on the US App Store while the desktop-weighted Capterra average sits at 4.6, and the gap shows up in the review bodies rather than in the stars. Photo handling is the specific complaint: a project manager at a 51 to 200 employee company describes the photo list resetting to the top of a 1,051-image job every time he backs out of an image, plus difficulty zooming and a two-tap workaround to reply to a tag.
Reporting
Custom reporting is on Essential, but the reports that tell a roofing company owner whether the business is working are not. And sales pipeline and closing percentage reports, prospecting reports and production status reports are all Elite. And a CFO reviewer using the product for more than two years says the reporting is clunky even where he has it, which lines up with a separate reviewer buying the ReportsPlus add-on to get what she needed.
Real limitations
Five specific, checkable gaps, none of which is a learning curve complaint:
- No Xactimate or Symbility integration appears on the integrations page, so carrier estimating stays a separate system.
- Supplement tracking, permits tracking, mortgage check tracking, commissions, the production calendar and every pipeline report are gated to Elite.
- Estimate clones do not inherit changes, and a measurement change forces every estimate on the job to be rebuilt.
- Job search cannot filter by material, so finding a standing seam job in a specific colour means scrolling.
- Add-ons are all-or-nothing at the company level. One reviewer states the whole company must adopt an enhancement at management level and an individual user cannot opt in alone.
- Data access ends when the subscription does. AccuLynx says you can access or download your data as long as you keep paying, which makes exporting a pre-cancellation task rather than a post-cancellation one.
What going roofing-only costs you
Every page in this category sells the trade depth and none of them price the loss, so here it is. You give up the integration marketplace a horizontal platform carries. AccuLynx names roughly 30 partners, and compared to a general FSM that number is small, chosen for roofing rather than for breadth. And you give up multi-trade coverage entirely. And you give up growing into commercial project management inside the same tool.
What you get back is the part a horizontal platform cannot fake: your distributor's catalogue, your measurement provider, and a job stage list that reads like a re-roof instead of a service call. If you also run a second trade at meaningful volume, stick with a horizontal platform. If roofing is the whole business, the vertical trade is usually worth making. For the horizontal comparison, our reviews of ServiceTitan and Jobber cover what those platforms cost and where their roofing coverage thins out.
Integrations
Named partners on the integrations page, grouped the way a roofing contractor would check them. Distributors: ABC Supply, SRS Distribution and QXO. Measurement: EagleView, GAF QuickMeasure, Geospan, Hover, RoofSnap and RoofScope. Accounting: QuickBooks and Sage Intacct. Storm data: CoreLogic Hail Maps and HailWatch. Photo documentation: CompanyCam. Lead and marketing: Angi, Hatch, HubSpot, Roofle, SalesRabbit, Spotio and CallRail. Plus Zapier and the calendar connectors.
That is a genuinely roofing-shaped list, and the storm-data and distributor entries are the two you will not find on a general platform. But the hole is carrier estimating.
Support quality
Support is the highest-rated thing about AccuLynx. Capterra reviewers score customer service 4.7 against 4.4 for ease of use, and the phrase repeating across five-star reviews is that you reach a real person. AccuLynx states live help and training are included for as long as you are a customer, with no separate support tier to buy. The recurring gap is training depth at rollout: a CFO reviewer describes good training for one key employee and no train-the-trainer path for everyone else.
Contracts, cancellation and getting your data out
AccuLynx states that it "does not require customers to sign long term contracts" and offers monthly billing with the flexibility to cancel without penalty at any time. The plan options page repeats it as "No contracts." No notice window, no auto-renewal clause and no termination fee is published, which in this category is unusual enough to count as a feature.
On data, read the wording carefully. AccuLynx says it "does not take over ownership of your company's data" and that if you discontinue use "you will still be able to access or download your data as long as you continue to pay for your subscription." So ownership is yours and access is rented. Export your jobs, photos, contracts and financials before the last billing period ends, not after. A public API is available for that, and the AppConnections add-on covers the pre-built connections.
How AccuLynx compares
| Platform | Published starting price | Billing unit | Trade scope | Where the trade module sits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AccuLynx | $250 a month, Essential | Per user licence | Roofing only | Supplements on Elite, no published price |
| JobNimbus | Quote only, all four tiers | Banded by seats: 3, 10, 19, then 20-plus | Roofing, siding, gutters, fencing | Not disclosed without a quote |
| Roofr | $0 a month Starter, then $249 and $349 | Flat plan, unlimited users on Starter | Roofing only | Measurement is native, $19 or $13 a report |
| Leap | $79 a month Essential | Single user on Essential, then $99 per added user | Exteriors and home improvement | Included in the higher tiers |
| ServiceTitan | Quote only, all three packages | Per technician | Horizontal, roofing is one of many trades | Roofing is a configuration, not a module |
Read that table for pricing transparency and the ranking inverts. Roofr publishes every figure including per-report costs. Leap publishes its entry price and its per-seat increment. AccuLynx publishes one number out of three. And JobNimbus and ServiceTitan publish none. If you want to build a budget before a sales call, that order is your shortlist order.
The verdict by crew size
Solo operator to one crew: no. But the per-user bill and the office-manager assumption do not fit yet. Roofr's free Starter plan gets you measurements and proposals for the cost of the reports.
Two to eight crews, residential re-roof, no insurance work: yes, and Essential is a real plan rather than a stripped one. You get the CRM, measurement ordering, supplier direct ordering, estimates and job costing. Get the seat count and the per-user figure in writing before you sign.
Two to fifteen crews with storm restoration in the mix: yes on Elite, and price Elite before anything else. Supplement tracking, permits and commissions all live there, so an Essential quote prices a different company than the one you run.
Multi-location or multi-trade: multi-location set-up is Elite, so that is a budget question rather than a capability one. Multi-trade is a hard no, and nothing here handles the second trade.
The part the software cannot fix
Fervor is a CRO and web design studio, not an AccuLynx competitor. But there's a gap between what this platform collects and what your website does with it, and that gap is the one we have data on.
AccuLynx stores unlimited photos against every job, so a shop that has run it two years is sitting on thousands of documented re-roofs. We inspected 130 roofing contractor websites for the roofing State of the Industry report. Only 8.5% shipped a before-and-after gallery signal in retrievable HTML, and 34.6% carried a testimonial section at all. So the photo library you paid a per-user subscription to build is doing nothing for the homeowner comparing three quotes.
And that's the sequence worth checking before you upgrade a tier. The full statistics are public, the roofing hub covers the marketing side, and the fix is usually a page, not a plan.
See whether your website uses the job photos you already paid to collect
Fervor inspects your site the way a homeowner comparing roofers uses it, then shows you the specific places proof of work goes missing. It takes about three days and the first several each week are free.
Get a Site InspectionWhat we read, and what we did not test
We did not run AccuLynx on a live roofing company, and we are telling you plainly that we read the product rather than operating it. What this page is instead: AccuLynx's own plan options page and plan matrix read row by row, its add-ons and integrations pages, the vendor article stating the per-user billing unit and the data-access terms, the App Store listing for the field app, and the Capterra corpus read by category rather than by star rating, which is where the add-on cost and mobile app complaints sit inside five-star reviews. Figures verified 27 July 2026.
Competitor prices come from JobNimbus, Roofr, Leap and ServiceTitan, two of which publish nothing. Ratings come from the Capterra review profile, last updated July 20th, 2026, and the App Store listing. Bear in mind that Capterra, GetApp and Software Advice share one review pool, so a matching score across all three is one sample rather than three.
What we could not verify: any price for Pro, Elite or any of the nine add-ons, the AccuPay processing rate, and any implementation fee. And none of the three is published anywhere AccuLynx controls. The BBB profile shows an A+ rating and no accreditation, and no complaint text rendered on the page we fetched, so nothing is quoted from it. Reddit and the roofing forums are crawler-blocked, so no forum claim appears here either.
If you want to evaluate AccuLynx directly, its plan options page carries the published Essential price and the demo request.
What AccuLynx users say
Finally, they have several nice enhancements, many of which are additional fees. If you want to use them, the entire company must adopt it at the management level. You cannot choose to use one yourself.
The cost for additional add ons is a lot. Sometimes my team will ask for something or look at something and it costs so much money that I just can't agree to it even if I think it would help. I wish some of these add ons were included.
Reporting is clunky. Works better for exterior jobs. We are struggling on using it with our interior jobs.
The app is terrible when it comes to photos. If you are reviewing one of 1051 photos and let’s say you scroll to picture number 45 way at the top when you back out of looking at that photo it starts you over at 1051 again.
No free e-sign, and the inability to labor track without upgrade even though you can create the labor orders
The price of Acculynx can be a tough pill to swallow but I must be fair in stating that it is well worth that price and is still cheaper than Service Titan.
Honestly the price. Although it is very worth it, but it makes it less accessible for a small business.
My biggest issue with Acculynx is definitely the lack of ability to search for jobs based on materials. If I want to find a standing seam roof of a specific color, it can be nearly impossible to find.
If you create an estimate, you can clone it for, let’s say, a different product. I’m often doing estimates for several product options. However, if you need to make a change, which happens all the time, you need to reflect that change in each cloned estimate.
I like the integration of the hover app and eagleview features in order to build estimates faster and more accurately.
I think training when we first started using it helped our key employee, but we didn't really have a train the trainer experience to help our other emplyees
Frequently asked questions
How much does AccuLynx cost?
AccuLynx publishes exactly one price: $250 a month on the Essential plan. Pro and Elite show a feature list and no figure, and the page directs you to sales for a custom quote. The pricing page also prints no billing unit next to the $250, so it does not tell you whether that buys one seat or the company. A separate AccuLynx article answers it: customers are charged a monthly fee for each user license. No minimum seat count is published either, so treat $250 as the entry point of a quote conversation rather than as your bill.
Does AccuLynx have a contract or an early termination fee?
No, and this is the strongest part of its commercial terms. AccuLynx states it does not require customers to sign long term contracts, offers simple monthly billing, and says you can cancel without penalty at any time. The plan options page repeats it as "No contracts." No minimum term, no auto-renewal notice window and no cancellation fee is published anywhere on the site. Add-ons are billed monthly as well and can be disabled at any time.
Which AccuLynx plan includes supplement tracking?
Elite, and only Elite. AccuLynx publishes a full plan comparison matrix and supplement tracking shows a cross on both Essential and Pro. Permits tracking, mortgage check tracking, the production calendar, production status and trade reports, prospecting reports, sales pipeline and closing percentage reports, commissions, advances and paybacks tracking, embedded web forms, the custom workflow manager and multi-location set-up are all Elite as well. If you run storm restoration work, that means the one published price belongs to the plan that does not carry your workflow, and Elite carries no published price at all.
Does AccuLynx integrate with Xactimate?
No. AccuLynx lists roughly 30 integration partners on its integrations page, including ABC Supply, SRS Distribution and QXO for material ordering, and EagleView, GAF QuickMeasure, Hover, Geospan, RoofSnap and RoofScope for aerial measurement. Neither Xactimate nor Symbility appears anywhere on it. AccuLynx supplement tracking is therefore documentation of the carrier back-and-forth rather than a data bridge into the carrier estimate, and the estimate itself still gets built in Xactimate. Roofr, by comparison, sells an ESX file alongside its measurement report and states those files can be uploaded directly to Xactimate.
How good is the AccuLynx mobile app?
It is the weakest task in the product. AccuLynx Field carries 3.9 from 585 ratings on the US App Store while the desktop-weighted Capterra average sits at 4.6 across 846 reviews, and the reviews explain the gap. Photo handling is the specific complaint: a project manager at a 51 to 200 employee roofing company describes the photo list resetting to the top of a 1,051-image job every time he exits an image. Other reviewers report the app being laggy and slow to upload a batch of photos. The app is free with every account, so the cost of the weakness is crew time rather than money.
What happens to my data if I cancel AccuLynx?
AccuLynx states it does not take over ownership of your company data, and that if you discontinue use you will still be able to access or download your data as long as you continue to pay for your subscription. Read that as ownership yours, access rented. Export your job records, photos, signed contracts and financials before your final billing period ends rather than after it. A public API is available for bulk export, and the AppConnections add-on covers pre-built connections.
Who should not buy AccuLynx?
Skip it if you run more than one trade. It is roofing software and covers no other trade, so a roofing and siding company will keep half the business in a spreadsheet. One CFO reviewer describes the same edge from inside: it works better for exterior jobs and his team struggles to use it on interior work. Skip it if you do fewer than about 10 re-roofs a month, because billing is per user licence and the seat fees outrun the admin hours saved. Skip it if you need a live Xactimate bridge. And skip it if you want commercial or new-construction project management with submittals and RFIs, which it does not do.
What are the best AccuLynx alternatives for roofing contractors?
JobNimbus is the closest same-trade competitor and also covers siding, gutters and fencing, but it publishes no price on any of its four tiers, which are banded at 3, 10, 19 and 20-plus users. Roofr publishes everything: a free Starter plan with unlimited users and $19 measurement reports, then $249 and $349 monthly tiers with $13 reports. Leap publishes $79 a month for a single-user Essential plan and $99 per additional user above that. ServiceTitan is the horizontal option and publishes no figure at all, billing per technician. On price transparency the order is Roofr, then Leap, then AccuLynx, then the two that publish nothing.
Freshness
How we keep this page current
Three dates govern this review, and they carry different meanings. We read every source on July 27, 2026, so that is the date every price, rating and quote below is measured against. We last revised the page on July 29, 2026. And the user reviews we quote were posted over roughly the last 24 months, which means you are reading recent operator experience rather than a five-year-old complaint a later update already resolved.
We revise the page when AccuLynx changes a published price or a contract term, when a rating we cite moves by more than a few tenths, or when the vendor ships something big enough to change the verdict. We never bump the date just to look fresh, because Google treats that as manipulation and so do we. If a figure here reads as stale by the time you land on it, treat it as a floor and check the vendor's own page. We linked it at every number for exactly that reason.
Sourcing
How this review was researched
Every figure on this page traces to a page that was fetched and read on 23 July 2026, and each one is linked inline where it appears. Ratings come from Capterra, GetApp, Software Advice and the Apple App Store. Note that Capterra, GetApp and Software Advice share one Gartner Digital Markets review pool, so an identical score across all three is a single sample rather than three corroborating ones, and this page treats it that way. G2, TrustRadius and Trustpilot block automated access, so where their numbers appear they are labelled as reported rather than verified. No claim here is sourced from Reddit or from a contractor Facebook group, because neither could be retrieved and quoting them would mean inventing attribution. Pricing marked as reported comes from third-party roundups, never from Fervor. Fervor's own findings come from the Contractor CRO Index 2026.
