EFS Plumbing: a licensed plumber gets a real Toronto site
EFS Plumbing is a licensed plumber working across Toronto and the GTA. Amir runs it. Drain cleaning, leak repair, fixtures, shut-off valves, camera inspections, and the emergency calls that come in when a basement drain backs up on a Sunday. The work was real and the reviews were real. What it didn't have was a website that matched. So Fervor Studio designed and built one from scratch, the brand included. This is what shipped.
The contractor
Who EFS is, and what they actually do.
EFS Plumbing is a licensed plumber operating across Toronto and the surrounding GTA, run by Amir. The positioning is plain. One plumber, on time, who explains the problem before he fixes it and quotes the price before he starts. That's the through-line in every review the business has earned, and it had to be the through-line on the site too.
The work covers the everyday plumbing a homeowner calls about. Drain cleaning and drain snaking for the clogs that stop a kitchen cold. Camera inspections when nobody can see where the blockage sits. Leak repair, faucet and toilet installs, shut-off valve replacement. And the service calls and emergencies that don't keep business hours, which for a plumber is most of them.
They work a real radius. Richmond Hill, North York, and Toronto are the core, then Vaughan, Markham, Thornhill, Aurora, and Newmarket on the wider ring. Eight cities, each named on the site so a homeowner in Thornhill or Aurora sees their own town listed instead of guessing whether EFS drives that far.
And there's a promise the website had to carry without sounding like every other plumbing page in the region: a three-month warranty on every job. If the same issue comes back inside three months, the same drain, the same fixture, the same valve, the return visit is included. That's a specific commitment, and it earns a specific spot on the page.
The build
What Fervor delivered
The brief wasn't a tune-up. It was the whole presence, from a blank page to a live site. So the work covers four layers: the brand it's built on, the words on every page, the parts that turn a visitor into a phone call, and the stack underneath holding it all up. Here's each one, line by line.
Design and brand
- A real identity, not a template skin. Fervor built the design system around EFS: the typography, the colour palette, and the way every page is set. A strong condensed display face carries the headlines, with clean labels and hairline rules doing the dividing. It reads like a trade you'd trust in your home, which is rare on a plumbing site.
- The trust signals, built in. The five-star Google reviews EFS has earned sit right on the page, pulled into the layout rather than left on a profile nobody scrolls to. The licensed status, the warranty, and the service area read as facts a visitor can scan in seconds, not fine print.
The words
- Every page written, not filled in. Fervor wrote the copy across the site. The service pages, the eight city area pages, and an FAQ that answers what a GTA homeowner asks first: are you licensed, what does the warranty actually cover, how fast can you come out, how does the price get set.
Conversion potential
- A lead form wired to the inbox. The contact and quote flow posts through a form backend, so every submission lands straight in the EFS inbox. No third-party dashboard to log into, no leads sitting in a portal nobody checks.
- The phone number, one tap away.
(647) 679-1381rides in the header with a call action beside it, so the homeowner who'd rather just call, which for an emergency is most of them, can do it from any scroll position on a phone. - Consent-gated analytics. The site only loads its analytics after a visitor accepts the cookie notice. Off by default, on by choice, which is the cleaner way to handle it under Canadian privacy rules.
Technical foundation
- Astro, output as static files. The site is built on Astro and shipped as static HTML. No content management system to keep patched, no plugin stack to collide, nothing to slow the first paint on a phone in a basement with one bar of signal.
- Deployed on Cloudflare.
Hosting and deployment run on Cloudflare, served from the edge. The site is live at
efs-plumbing.pages.devtoday, with the custom domainefsplumbing.caon the way. - Structured data search engines can read. A Plumber profile is hard-coded into the site, naming the trade, the phone number, the warranty, and all eight cities served, plus page and breadcrumb schema. So Google reads the business correctly instead of guessing at it.
At a glance
What's on the live site
None of this is a projection. Every line in the panel is something you can read off the live EFS site right now, on a phone or a laptop. The site is up, the form works, and the schema is in the page source where Google can parse it.
And that's the point of a case study like this one. Not a number we're hoping for, but the artifacts that actually shipped, sitting where anyone can check them.

What the site surfaces
The reviews now sitting on the homepage
EFS did an amazing job at our place. Amir was very respectful, professional, on time, and fixed the problem quickly. Fair prices, clean work, and everything works perfectly now. Highly recommend this company!
This is a homeowner review of Amir's plumbing work, not of the website. We're quoting it because the new site puts reviews like it front and centre, pulled in from EFS's five-star Google profile rather than buried a click away. The quality of the work was always there. The site Fervor built is where a stranger can finally see it.
EFS Plumbing heads into a busy GTA season with a live website, a brand that matches the standard of the work, structured data that names every city it serves, and a form that drops every lead straight into the inbox. The five-star reputation Amir built one job at a time now sits somewhere a homeowner can find it, on a phone, at the hour the drain backs up.
Fervor Studio designed and built the EFS Plumbing website, the brand behind it, and the words on every page. We build sites for contractors across Canada and the United States. If yours has drifted out of step with the quality of the work, the Site Inspection is where to start.
