Let’s talk about what your website could be doing for your business.

The Montreal, QC HVAC specifics your website needs.

Every angle below comes from how Montreal, QC homeowners search, evaluate, and buy, built into your site to help boost conversions.

Size Backup Heat To Minus 12C

Environment Canada's normals put Montreal-Trudeau's average January mean at -9.2C, with a record low of -37.8C set in 1957. And Hydro-Quebec's own dual-energy program treats -12C as the practical point where a backup gas source should take over from an electric heat pump. So use that -12C crossover when your contractor sizes backup heat for your system.

Plex Retrofits Rarely Take Ducts

Montreal's central boroughs, Plateau-Mont-Royal, Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie, and Villeray, are dominated by older duplex and triplex plex housing built around hydronic radiators with no factory ductwork. So a central ducted heat-pump retrofit here needs a full per-unit thermal and load analysis, and ductless multi-zone systems are usually the more practical path than adding ducts. Plan the refrigerant-line routing before the quote.

LogisVert Pays By The BTU

Hydro-Quebec's LogisVert pays by capacity: $50 CAD per 1,000 BTU/h for an ENERGY STAR heat pump, or $120 for a cold-climate-classified unit, plus a $100 per 1,000 BTU/h bonus in eligible multi-unit buildings, up to $220 combined. But your install needs an RBQ-licensed contractor and a minimum 12,000 BTU/h cooling capacity, and the application is due within nine months of install.

Chauffez Vert Adds $7,300

You can stack a dual-energy conversion grant on top. Chauffez vert pays up to $7,300 CAD for Energir customers, or up to $6,800 for Enbridge Gaz Quebec customers, to add an electric central heat pump to an existing natural gas system, with gas kicking in as backup below roughly -12C. It is a joint Quebec, Hydro-Quebec, and gas-distributor program built for exactly this climate.

Two Grants Closed Or Closing

Two incentives are closed or closing in Montreal. Chauffez vert's oil and propane conversion stream stopped accepting applications after March 31, 2026, so treat it as dead. And the federal Oil to Heat Pump Affordability grant of up to $10,000 CAD is live but closing, with a final application deadline of July 31, 2026. So if oil-to-heat-pump fits, you are near the cutoff.

The CMMTQ Licenses Heating Mechanics

Quebec runs its own licensing system through the Regie du batiment du Quebec, which issues specialized subclasses like 15.1 for pulsed-air heating and 15.10 for refrigeration and air conditioning. And gas or pressure-vessel work needs a separate certificate of qualification from Emploi-Quebec. Note the trade body for heating mechanics is the CMMTQ, not the CMEQ, which licenses electricians only, so make sure your contractor is credentialed correctly.

Federal Rules, Federal Businesses Only

The Accessible Canada Act came into force in 2019, and it reaches organizations in federally regulated sectors like banking, telecom, and transport. And it leans on EN 301 549, which folds in WCAG 2.1 Level AA for web content. Most home-services contractors are provincially regulated, so the ACA usually will not bind your site directly. But it sets the national tone that the provinces now follow.

The Penalties Have Real Range

Where the Accessible Canada Act does apply, its penalties run from $250 up to $250,000 per violation depending on severity, and failing to publish required plans carries its own fines. And a contractor that subcontracts to a federally regulated client can get pulled toward these expectations by contract. So even outside federal jurisdiction, WCAG 2.1 Level AA is becoming the number everyone writes into their agreements.

The January Search From a Plateau Triplex

So picture the visitor your site exists for. This page is one piece of our HVAC Website Design work.

A Plateau triplex's heating quits overnight in January, three units share the problem, and the search happens on a phone in a cold kitchen, in French, because that's the language this market thinks in two times out of three: thermopompe réparation urgence. She taps a result. The numbers here come straight from our State of HVAC 2026.

What renders in the next four seconds, a headline in her language and a tappable number, or an English-only page buffering a hero video, decides whether your dispatcher ever hears about it. The same crew also handles HVAC Conversion Rate Optimization in Montreal, QC.

And that's the moment most Montreal HVAC web design never plans for, because builds get approved in warm offices on fast connections by people who already know the company, people who built the site in the language the owner speaks rather than the language the market searches. The buyer who pays the invoices judges the build in crisis, on cellular, in seconds, in French. We run the same build nearby for HVAC Website Design in Toronto, ON.

Web design for HVAC contractors in Montreal that starts from her moment and works backward wins before anyone compares logos. And the summer rewrites the test: the July heat waves that turn third-floor plex units into ovens have made cooling a mainstream Montreal purchase, the thermopompe murale rides both seasons, and the research buyer arrives with the LogisVert tables open. One market, two languages, two seasons, and most of the competition's builds handle one of each.

What the Inspection Data Says About HVAC Builds

But don't take the urgency on faith, take it from the inspection numbers. Fervor scored real HVAC contractor websites against one framework for the Digital State of the HVAC Industry report, every site graded on the same categories, all evidence archived.

The Above-the-Fold Build: First Impressions by the Numbers

And once the page does load, the first screen has one job: tell a stressed buyer she's in the right place, in her language, and show her what to tap. The framework scores that directly.

Questions Contractors Ask Before Hiring Us

A site that books the job instead of just describing it. The work is conversion architecture first, so every page in Montreal has a clear call path, real proof, and fast mobile load.

You see the scoring framework, the benchmark data behind it, and your ranked fix list before any remediation work begins. It is a diagnosis you can evaluate, not a promise you have to trust.

The Fervor Grade framework was built by scoring 380 contractor sites across roofing, remodeling, and HVAC. Your trade's patterns are in the data, not borrowed from SaaS or dentists.

A Booked by Design rebuild runs 30 to 60 days. It starts with a Site Inspection so the build targets the pages that are costing you calls.

You do. The domain, the content, the analytics, every account we touch. Day one. No ownership traps, no holding your site hostage if you leave.

Then you found out something that was already costing you, and now you know where. The inspection surfaces what is actually wrong on the site so you can decide what to fix.

No. We work with HVAC contractors across the region, and the research covers national brands too, so the benchmark holds whether you are downtown or two towns over.

A Booked by Design rebuild is one project price with no monthly lock-in. One booked job at your average ticket usually covers it, and we show you that math before you commit.

No. The work protects what already ranks. We map the URLs and the equity first, fix the conversion leaks, and improve the pages that search already trusts rather than wiping them.

Very little. The intake takes minutes, and the build work is ours to run from there. You keep running crews. We will only ask for things no one else can give us, like your real service area and your best photos.

Give us a call expressing your specific needs, and we’ll see if we are a good fit for each other.
