Call Us TodayThe Jacksonville, FL HVAC specifics your website needs.
Every angle below comes from how Jacksonville, FL homeowners search, evaluate, and buy, built into your site to help boost conversions.
Your AC runs almost nonstop
From May through September your AC runs close to continuously in Jacksonville, with summer temperatures regularly topping 90°F on top of roughly 75% year-round relative humidity. So correct tonnage matters, because oversizing causes short-cycling and poor dehumidification. And condensate drain-line maintenance is a named local failure mode here, since algae and debris clog the line and back water up, so you build drain-line service into every install and tune-up.
Hurricanes decide how you anchor
Jacksonville sits in the Atlantic hurricane corridor, and the season runs June 1 through November 30. So your condensing unit has to be bolted to a concrete pad and tied down with hurricane straps or hold-down brackets rated to the site's ASCE 7 design wind speed, per Florida Building Code Mechanical Chapter 3. It is a statewide rule, but it is especially load-bearing on a coastal Duval County install for you.
Winter humidity actually peaks here
Do not assume moisture control stops in winter. Jacksonville's relative humidity actually peaks in December at 76%, so mold and moisture searches do not disappear the way they do in drier climates. Your December through February work still means heat-pump balance-point and auxiliary-heat sizing for the occasional freeze, plus whole-home dehumidification that runs independent of the heating load. So you keep selling humidity control year-round.
One county, two utilities
Utility territory is split inside Duval County, and it decides who gets a rebate. JEA serves most of Jacksonville and is the only utility here with an HVAC rebate. But Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach, Atlantic Beach, and Ponte Vedra Beach are served by Beaches Energy Services, a separate utility with no equivalent published HVAC rebate. So you check the service address before you promise your customer any rebate money.
JEA pays $200 plus $50
JEA hands its electric customers $200 for an ENERGY STAR-certified central AC, heat pump, or ductless mini-split, plus a separate $50 for a qualifying smart thermostat installed alongside it. The window covers October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2026 installs, and you submit within 90 days. But it only covers JEA-electric addresses, so it does not reach the Beaches communities on the other utility.
One dead credit, one not-yet-live
Two incentives should stay off your Jacksonville quotes as claimable money. The federal 25C credit, once up to $2,000 for a heat pump, expired December 31, 2025 under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. And Florida's HEAR and HOMES rebates remain pending U.S. Department of Energy approval, so FDACS is only taking pre-registrations, not issuing rebates. So flag that one as registration-open, not launched.
Florida Only Bites The Giants
Florida has a privacy law, but it was built for tech giants, not contractors. The Florida Digital Bill of Rights took effect in July 2024, and its core duties only apply to companies pulling more than a billion dollars in global revenue. So no Miami, Tampa, Orlando, or Jacksonville home-services shop meets that bar. And that means your practical rulebook is the federal FTC baseline, not the state law.
So The FTC Rules Still Apply
Because Florida's law skips you, your form still answers to the FTC Act, which bans deceptive and unfair data capture. So you cannot hide what happens to a lead or fake urgency to force a submit. And honoring Global Privacy Control is still the smart move, because the ad platforms you rely on increasingly respect it, and it keeps your tracking clean and your banner honest.
Where Jacksonville HVAC Sites Leak
Website conversion in this market has a long runway and a hard geography. This page is one piece of our HVAC Conversion Rate Optimization work.
Get My Site InspectionThe cooling season runs March into November, the longest demand window in the trade, and the metro's sheer size means every leak repeats across a half-dozen sub-markets at once: the 9pm compressor death in Mandarin, the Saturday no-cool at the Beaches, the St. Johns County new-build whose builder-grade unit quit a year out of warranty. The numbers here come straight from our State of HVAC 2026.
And during every wave the same scene repeats: a homeowner lands on a shop's site ready to book, and finds a number that rings to voicemail and a form that promises a callback within one business day. By morning she's on someone else's schedule. The same crew also handles HVAC SEO in Jacksonville, FL.
That's a website conversion leak, and it has nothing to do with how the site looks. Jacksonville website conversion problems hide in plain sight precisely because the site seems fine to everyone who isn't sweating. (If the site itself is the problem, slow on a phone or structurally broken, that's the build discipline, covered in HVAC web design in Jacksonville. We run the same build nearby for HVAC Conversion Rate Optimization in Charleston, SC.
And if you're invisible to begin with, start at Jacksonville HVAC SEO.) This page is the layer between: visitors in, booked jobs out. "Across 104 HVAC contractor websites inspected for the Digital State of the HVAC Industry report, the average site earns 65.32 of 100 points." - Fervor, Digital State of the HVAC Industry (2026) And the conversion categories drag that average down hardest. Lead capture and trust, the two layers this page lives in, are where the trade loses the most points, which means they're where a First Coast shop catches up fastest, before buying a single additional click.
The Conversion Baseline From the Inspection Data
Fervor's Digital State of the HVAC Industry work scored real contractor sites on one framework, evidence archived. The capture findings read like a leak map for the whole trade, and every number below is one your own website either beats or doesn't, auditable in an afternoon.

After-Hours Capture in a Nine-Month Season
Jacksonville's highest-intent visitor arrives after close, all season long: the 9pm compressor death in a Southside two-story, the Sunday no-cool in a beach rental with guests arriving. What she needs is to book now. What most sites give her is voicemail and a promise.

The Phone-First Reality
For all the channels, the Jacksonville HVAC buyer in crisis is still a caller. Emergency intent converts by phone, in one tap or not at all.

Questions Contractors Ask Before Hiring Us
A site that books the job instead of just describing it. The work is conversion architecture first, so every page in Jacksonville has a clear call path, real proof, and fast mobile load.
You see the scoring framework, the benchmark data behind it, and your ranked fix list before any remediation work begins. It is a diagnosis you can evaluate, not a promise you have to trust.
The Fervor Grade framework was built by scoring 380 contractor sites across roofing, remodeling, and HVAC. Your trade's patterns are in the data, not borrowed from SaaS or dentists.
A Booked by Design rebuild runs 30 to 60 days. It starts with a Site Inspection so the build targets the pages that are costing you calls.
You do. The domain, the content, the analytics, every account we touch. Day one. No ownership traps, no holding your site hostage if you leave.
Then you found out something that was already costing you, and now you know where. The inspection surfaces what is actually wrong on the site so you can decide what to fix.
No. We work with HVAC contractors across the region, and the research covers national brands too, so the benchmark holds whether you are downtown or two towns over.
A Booked by Design rebuild is one project price with no monthly lock-in. One booked job at your average ticket usually covers it, and we show you that math before you commit.
No. The work protects what already ranks. We map the URLs and the equity first, fix the conversion leaks, and improve the pages that search already trusts rather than wiping them.
Very little. The intake takes minutes, and the build work is ours to run from there. You keep running crews. We will only ask for things no one else can give us, like your real service area and your best photos.
