Call Us TodayThe Houston, TX HVAC specifics your website needs.
Every angle below comes from how Houston, TX homeowners search, evaluate, and buy, built into your site to help boost conversions.
July bakes Houston to 94.5 degrees
The National Weather Service pegs Houston's normal July high at 94.5 degrees, and the overnight low still sits at 75.7 degrees. So your customers' condensers never really rest from May into October. When a homeowner's system quits in that stretch, they are searching on their phone in a hot house, and your page either loads fast and books the call or loses it to the next contractor.
Houston's humidity punishes an oversized AC
Houston catches 51.84 inches of rain a year, per the Weather Service, and Gulf air keeps homes muggy for months. So sizing and dehumidification matter here in a way they do not in dry climates. An oversized unit short-cycles, never pulls the moisture out, and leaves rooms clammy at 74 degrees. When you explain latent load and right-sizing on your site, you sound like the contractor who understands a Houston summer.
CenterPoint pays $200 and up for efficiency
CenterPoint Energy runs residential HVAC incentives in its Houston Electric service area, and they start at $200 and climb with the install. But the equipment has to hit at least 15.2 SEER2 to qualify. That is real money your customer can stack on a new system, so put the number on the page. When you name the CenterPoint program and the SEER2 floor, you answer the cost question before the homeowner even asks it.
Stop selling the expired 25C credit
The federal 25C Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit ended on December 31, 2025. The IRS only allows it for improvements made through that date, so any Houston page still promising homeowners a heat pump tax credit is quoting a dead number. But CenterPoint's local incentive is still live, so point people there instead. When your site drops the expired credit and names the rebate that actually pays, you keep trust and you keep the lead.
Texas gates HVAC behind a TDLR license
Texas will not let you contract HVAC without a TDLR license, and there are two classes. A Class B Environmental Air Conditioning license caps you at 25 tons of cooling or 1.5 million BTU per hour of heating, while Class A carries no size limit. You need 48 months of practical experience in the prior 72, a $115 application fee, and a certificate of insurance on file. So put your license number on the page and prove it.
Houston's 2021 code governs every HVAC swap
Houston adopted the 2021 International Energy Conservation Code and the 2021 Uniform Mechanical Code, both with Houston Amendments, effective January 1, 2024 under Ordinance 2023-907. So when your crew swaps a system, the job runs under that specific code. When your site shows you pull the mechanical permit and meet the 2021 energy code, you stand apart from the cash-and-carry installers cutting corners across the metro.
Texas Skipped The Headcount Test
Most state privacy laws only kick in once you handle data for a hundred thousand people, which no single-market contractor reaches. But Texas wrote its law differently. The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, live since July 2024, sets no numeric threshold and instead exempts small businesses by the federal SBA size standard. So whether it covers you turns on your industry revenue, and a larger multi-location contractor can land squarely inside it.
Read The Signal, Post The Notice
If the Act covers you, two things drive your site. First, since January 2025 Texas makes you honor Global Privacy Control, so your ad tags have to stop selling data the instant that browser signal shows up. And second, if you ever sell sensitive data, Texas requires a posted notice in those exact words. So passing a captured lead to a partner triggers real disclosure, not just a generic policy page.
What Your Houston HVAC Traffic Actually Does
Conversion is the share of visitors who do the one thing your shop needs, which is book the call. And most HVAC sites turn a small slice of their traffic into that, so the ad budget mostly buys people who look and leave. Start with where the trade sits, because it sets the bar you're clearing across the Inner Loop and out to Katy. This page is one piece of our HVAC Conversion Rate Optimization work.

The 95-Degree Saturday: Houston Demand Goes to Voicemail
Here's the biggest leak. A West University Place homeowner's AC quits on a 95-degree July Saturday, she Googles "AC repair Houston" from the driveway, lands on your site, and finds no way to book. So she taps the second result instead. Houston runs AC year-round, and the worst failures land on weekends when most shops are least staffed to answer. The numbers here come straight from our State of HVAC 2026.

The Form Is Where Houston Calls Die
The second leak is the form. A homeowner willing to fill one out is the most valuable visitor you get, and most HVAC sites punish her for it. The same crew also handles HVAC SEO in Houston, TX.

Trust Is Where Houston HVAC Splits Widest
The third leak is trust, and it's the one that separates the winners. A homeowner about to authorize a same-day AC repair from a stranger is scared of one thing: hiring the wrong shop, a fear Houston has carried harder since Beryl. So she skims your site for reasons to believe you. We run the same build nearby for HVAC Conversion Rate Optimization in San Antonio, TX.

Questions Contractors Ask Before Hiring Us
A site that books the job instead of just describing it. The work is conversion architecture first, so every page in Houston has a clear call path, real proof, and fast mobile load.
You see the scoring framework, the benchmark data behind it, and your ranked fix list before any remediation work begins. It is a diagnosis you can evaluate, not a promise you have to trust.
The Fervor Grade framework was built by scoring 380 contractor sites across roofing, remodeling, and HVAC. Your trade's patterns are in the data, not borrowed from SaaS or dentists.
A Booked by Design rebuild runs 30 to 60 days. It starts with a Site Inspection so the build targets the pages that are costing you calls.
You do. The domain, the content, the analytics, every account we touch. Day one. No ownership traps, no holding your site hostage if you leave.
Then you found out something that was already costing you, and now you know where. The inspection surfaces what is actually wrong on the site so you can decide what to fix.
No. We work with HVAC contractors across the region, and the research covers national brands too, so the benchmark holds whether you are downtown or two towns over.
A Booked by Design rebuild is one project price with no monthly lock-in. One booked job at your average ticket usually covers it, and we show you that math before you commit.
No. The work protects what already ranks. We map the URLs and the equity first, fix the conversion leaks, and improve the pages that search already trusts rather than wiping them.
Very little. The intake takes minutes, and the build work is ours to run from there. You keep running crews. We will only ask for things no one else can give us, like your real service area and your best photos.
