About Fervor Studio

We build websites that book jobs, not websites that win design awards

Fervor Studio is a conversion rate optimization and website design studio built specifically for home service contractors doing $500K–$5M/year. Based in Calgary, AB. Working with contractors across Canada and the US.

Why contractor websites specifically

Most marketing agencies take any client that calls. We don't. So Fervor Studio was built specifically for home service contractors — because this industry has a problem nobody else is solving.

Contractors who are excellent at their trade — the ones with 80+ Google reviews, clean crews, and zero callbacks — are losing jobs every single week to competitors with better websites. Not competitors who do better work. Competitors whose websites answer the right questions faster, load in under three seconds on a phone, and have a form that takes 45 seconds instead of 4 minutes. That gap? It's a conversion killer.

The industry assumption is that word of mouth is enough. It is — until the market shifts. Until a competitor runs a campaign. Until homeowners Google before asking a friend. And then the contractor with the faster, cleaner website wins. Period.

That's what Fervor exists to fix. Not in some generic "we do marketing" way. We actually go deep into contractor business models — how storm-driven roofing leads behave differently from planned deck projects, how HVAC emergency calls need different conversion paths than annual maintenance upsells, how a custom home builder has to justify a 12-month decision on their site while a window installer needs to beat big-box pricing in 30 seconds flat.

Trade-specific knowledge built into every page we write and every conversion system we design.

What we actually do

We do two things: CRO and website design. Everything. In service of one metric. Jobs booked. Not impressions, not followers, not traffic — jobs booked.

Conversion rate optimization (CRO)

CRO is the discipline of making more of your existing traffic convert into leads. If 500 homeowners visit your site every month and 8 fill out a form, a Site Inspection tells you why 492 didn't — and what to change. We use the Fervor Grade™ scoring system to inspect contractor sites across 6 categories: first impression, trust and credibility, lead capture, mobile experience, accessibility, and SEO.

Every finding maps to a validated impact stat. We don't say "improve your CTA" and walk away. We tell you CTAs above the fold outperform by 304% — and show you exactly why yours is buried below the fold on mobile.

Website design and development

Our full website builds aren't design-led. They're conversion-led. We start with your trade, your market, and your ICP — the specific contractor profile at the revenue stage where our work hits hardest. Then we design a site that speaks to your customers in the language they actually use when they're scared, planning, or comparing.

Every page is written using validated copywriting frameworks, deployed with proper semantic SEO architecture, and QA'd against human-authenticity standards before it goes live. No AI slop. No generic contractor copy templates. Trade-specific content that answers real questions.

Seasonal and emergency campaign systems

For exterior and mechanical contractors whose revenue moves with weather, we build campaign systems that activate around weather events. Storm-triggered landing pages that rank for local emergency searches within 24 hours. Off-season content that captures January research leads for April bookings. After-hours routing that gets emergency calls to on-call crews instead of voicemail hell.

These aren't nice-to-have features. For a roofing contractor in hail country, a storm response system is the difference between $80K and $180K from a single weather event.

Who we work with

We work with established home service contractors doing $500K to $5M in annual revenue across Canada and the United States. Three profiles describe most of our clients:

$500K – $1.5M

Growing and referral-dependent

Solid reputation, mostly referral-driven, starting to hit the ceiling on organic growth. The website exists but doesn't convert consistently. Ready to build a real digital presence before a competitor does.

$3M – $5M

Scaling and needs systems

At this level, the website needs to run as infrastructure. Seasonal campaign automation, maintenance plan conversion optimization, multi-market local SEO. The conversation shifts from "why is my site losing leads" to "how do I scale lead volume without scaling headcount."

If you're a homeowner or a non-contractor business, we're not the right fit. We go deep, not broad — and that depth only works when we know your industry cold.

What we don't do

We don't take every client. We don't build beautiful websites that don't convert. We don't write marketing copy that could be about anyone in anywhere. And we definitely don't chase social media vanity metrics that don't move your calendar.

We don't promise page one Google rankings without telling you it depends on your market, your existing authority, and how consistently we publish the right content. And we don't ghost after launch and call it done — contractor websites are living systems that need seasonal maintenance, campaign activation, and conversion testing.

If you want a beautiful brochure site that wins awards and books zero jobs, we'll politely refer you to someone else. If you want a site built around one question — does this book more jobs? — let's talk.

Start with the free Site Inspection

We run a Site Inspection on your contractor website across 6 conversion categories and give you a scored report with specific fixes. No pitch buried inside. Just what's costing you jobs and how to fix it.
